At Power Concepts we specialize in computer software training. From beginner and new user courses right through to advanced and technical courses, we guarantee a productive, cost effective and enjoyable training experience.

We offer courses ranging from 3 hours to 6 hours in the world's most popular suite of computer software - Microsoft Office, as well as a full range of complementary products such as Simply Accounting, Microsoft Project, Web Design, Publisher and more.

In addition to this we offer a complete needs analysis service to accurately evaluate your training needs. We achieve this using the latest in assessment software and can arrange formal assessment programs for individuals or corporations as required

Our Trainers

Our trainers are experts in the topics they teach. All hold the prestigious Microsoft Master instructor designation or the appropriate qualification for the course. They don't just bring qualifications to the classroom though, they bring years of business experience to make the training relative, valuable and up to date.

Also, Our Trainers incorporate motivational techniques, questioning and activities that maximize the learning experience. Classes are run using the world-renowned CAFE principle, a methodology embraced by companies such as Microsoft, IBM, Sun Microsystems and many more of the world's top companies.

Certification

Power Concepts is an authorized exam-testing centre for the highly valued Microsoft Certified Application Specialist program (MCAS). By encouraging individuals to develop thorough skills with Microsoft's leading business desktop software, the MCAS program helps fill the demand for qualified, knowledgeable workers in the modern workplace. At the same time, MCAS helps satisfy an organization's need for a qualitative assessment of employee skills.

Our Facilities

Modern, innovative, comfortable and practical; that just about sums us up. Efficient, networked computers with high speed Internet connections and the latest in software technology ensure an effective training experience whilst our ergonomically designed chairs and 17 inch monitors mean training is a pleasure not an ordeal. Projection equipment is used where appropriate to provide an amazing learning experience. Two fully equipped and air conditioned training rooms are offered and refreshment facilities are available on site.

In addition, a fully equipped portable training lab allows us to come to you for onsite training at your location.

Our Location

Location is everything, as any real estate agent will tell you, and we've got it just right. Located at #203 – 1912 Enterprise Way, Kelowna BC, V1Y 9S9, right at the corner of Spall and Enterprise Way. Free parking is available on site and there are restaurants, delis or coffee shops within a five minute walk.

Our Guarantee

Free refreshers are offered for 1 to 2 years from the course date, depending on the course. Please see specific refresher policy for courses below. Refresher participants will not be provided another manual and should bring their original manual to the course. If needed, an additional manual can be purchased for $20.

Microsoft Office Courses

Free refreshers are granted for a period of 2 years from the date of the course.

Accounting courses

Refreshers are granted within 1 year of taking the course .

Adobe Courses

Refreshers are granted within 1 year of taking the course.

Registering for Refresher Course

To register for a refresher please contact us at 250-861-8324 or register online at www.powerconcepts.ca. If you qualify for a refresher, the registration process will automatically code your registration as a “Re-Sit”.

Please note that enrolment of a refresher may be limited due to space available in the course.

Anyone who does not show up for a scheduled refresher may be denied future refreshers.
